What is PRIDE?

CGEA PRIDE was formed in 2006-07 to promote the bonds between teachers, students, parents and the entire community. The NJEA generously provides funding for our special activities that promote these bonds. In 1994, NJEA initiated PRIDE in Public Education, a campaign aimed at sharing the successes of New Jersey’s public schools and building community support and involvement. NJEA provides grants for all kinds of local and county community involvement projects.

This year the CGEA applied for $10,643.61 in grants through this program, the following is a list of tentative events and programs that this money will be used to benefit:
